Day 6 (part 2) of running
Distance: 1.5 miles
Ok… so, I caved and went running. My focus was not for time, though. I changed my music playlist so I couldn’t gage my time. I wanted to run just to run. Today’s motto was inspired by my shirt: “Powered by Optimism.” #LifeIsGood #RunWhereYouLike #LikeWhereYouRun #JoriRuns #optimism #motivation #cardio
Day 3 of running. Distance: 1
5 miles. Today’s motto was “Go The Distance.” Despite being incredibly sore this morning, I was able to shave 8 more seconds off of yesterday’s time! I swore I was going to do worse because it felt like I had to stop and walk a million times. Needless to say, I was shocked when I looked at my time! Yeah! *high fives for Jori!* #JoriRuns #cardio #running #lifeofatrainer #goals #motivation
Sad to be leaving Florida and the 80 degree weather to go to 1 degree weather. I’ll have to dig my car out of the snow as a little present when I get there. Thanks snowstorm Hercules. And why did we start naming winter storms now?! Sorry. Early morning rant…awake at 4:45 for my flight. But at least I’m wearing my cute old school lululemon hoodie!
This is one of the most adorable comics I’ve ever read
I’ve been waiting for this to pop back up on my dashboard.. we are way too hard on ourselves.
YES, EVERYONE!! Read this! You’re wonderful!
I remember reading an analogy about this a few years back.. I’m so glad this is on tumblr. We may not see the good traits in ourselves but believe me they are there and you are all amazingly beautiful people
I will always reblog this. I always need this reminder. I never see the traits that others see in me - it’s been that way ever since I can remember. I’ve lacked self-confidence my whole life and never thought I was worth anyone’s time. This comic reminds me that my good traits exist.
